EDUCATION

I received my Bachelor of Journalism, New Media and Communications degree with honours from Thompson Rivers University in April, 2015. During my two years at TRU, I worked as a Reporter and Sports Editor for the student newspaper, The Omega, which  allowed my passion for writing to grow and flourish.

Before attending TRU, I earned my Associate of Arts diploma with honours from Selkirk College, in 2013. I studied English, Canadian Literature, Creative Writing, and Advanced French. I also volunteered as Editor-in-Chief for a collection of poetry and short stories my class was self-publishing.

ABOUT ME

My love for writing and multi-media has taken me down a versatile career path. While earning my Bachelor’s degree, I worked as a journalist, freelance writer and sports photographer.

After completing my degree, I moved to Pensacola, Florida in search of new career opportunities. My work experience at SkillQ includes eLearning development, video production, video editing, and LMS administration. Outside of SkillQ, I worked as a freelance blogger and website designer.

In 2017, I'm returning to B.C. to make my next career move.  I'm seeking new challenges, new opportunities and new stories.
